Teachers may tag an entire quiz and/or individual questions.
To tag a quiz:
- Select the quiz from the list of quizzes and press the edit icon in the upper-right (pencil)
- On the bottom of the screen is the Tag entry section. Press the '+' button to bring up the add tag screen.
- Start typing in the name of the tag you wish to add
- The list will automatically filter to similar, previously created tags. If the tag you wish is in the list, press on the tag to add it to this quiz.
- If the tag you typed has not been defined, press the 'Create' button to create a new tag with this name. It will be added to this quiz.
- Repeat for as many tags as you wish to connect to the quiz.
- To remove a tag, press on the tag name in the tag box.
To tag a question:
- Press 'Edit Key' on the quiz menu
- After scanning a paper or while entering the correct answers, press the 'i' on a question to enter the question detail screen
- On the bottom of the screen is the Tag entry section. Press the '+' button to bring up the add tag screen.
- Start typing in the name of the tag you wish to add
- The tag list will automatically filter to similar, previously created tags. if the tag you wish is in the list, press to add to the question.
- If the tag you typed has not beed defined yet, press the 'Create' button to create a new tag with this name. It will be added to this question.
- Repeat to continue adding tags to this question. Press the '<' button to return to the list of questions.
- To remove a tag, press on the tag name in the tag box.
Once you have tagged questions, you may review the results and data on the website. Login at www.zipgrade.com with your ZipGrade Cloud username. The quizzes pages will contain additional stats and percentiles by tag. The 'Classes' tab has a tag report that summarizes per student mastery of the tag for all time and the last time each tag was exercised.
The tag feature is very new and I'm soliciting feedback on what you would find valuable. So please let me know what you think is missing for your needs.
