Grade Papers From PDF File Upload
- Log into the zipgrade.com website.
- Go to the "Quizzes" page.
- Click the blue, linked quiz name of the papers you want to upload (or, create a new quiz by clicking the "New Quiz" button and following the prompts).
- In the "Graded Papers" section of that quiz's detail page, click the button for "Grade PDF File".
- Click the "Choose File" button to select the PDF file of the papers to upload, then click the "Upload & Grade PDF File" button.
NOTES:
- When possible, uploaded papers will automatically connect to student record (based on the ZipGrade ID number if present).
- We have worked to keep parity between the different grading methods, so all quiz results will be available to view/export together regardless of how the students' papers were graded (scanned with the app, student-submitted online, or uploaded as a PDF file).
- If there are any issues with the upload process, the "Grade PDF File" page will list "RECENT PDF GRADING JOBS (last 7 days)" below the PDF upload section. Failed pages (if any) will be linked on the right of each upload attempt - those failed pages can be downloaded and reviewed by clicking that link. (Users can then review those failed pages for any obvious issues with the PDF's paper image and determine which papers could not be graded as expected and may need to be rescanned/reuploaded).
